About Us

Marmo (est. 2019) is a caffè and alternative arts organization currently located in Shelton, WA.
We nurture collaboration between locally, nationally, and internationally recognized artists, writers, and performers who consider unique philosophical inquiries and perspectives.
Our independent publishing house, Desuetude Press, features works of art, poetry, critical theory, translation, and prose of an exploratory and experimental nature.
We are striving to revitalize downtown Shelton while nurturing arts and culture in our community through ongoing events including exhibitions, workshops, readings, and more.
Marmo exists on unceded Skokomish and Squaxin land.
