Description
The Chamber will mark the grand opening of Community Lifeline’s Recovery Café on Wednesday, February 1. The ribbon cutting ceremony will be held at 11:30a and CL staff will provide tours of the facility to showcase recent improvements.
A lunch is also being offered at 11:45a—reservations are required for the meal, and a donation is requested to support the nonprofit’s efforts. The community is invited and encouraged to attend! RSVP to events@masonchamber.com or calling (360) 426-2021.
More about Recovery Café
Recovery Café is designed to help people maintain recovery, reduce relapse, and fulfill their potential. The program offers weekly recovery circles, fun activities, support meetings, health clinics, job readiness training & classes, and peer support & resource connection. Partners include Quixote Communities, Northwest Resources, WorkSource, WA Health Care Authority, Peninsula Community Health Services, Medtriq Treatment Services, and Olympic Health & Recovery Services.
Recovery Café is committed to creating a safe space that is drug & alcohol free, embracing & healing; nurturing structures of loving accountability; empowering every member to be a contributor; and working to end systemic racism and socioeconomic inequality so every person can thrive. Membership is open to anyone able to remain drug and alcohol free, attend a once-weekly recovery circle, and contribute to the life of the community.
