Description
Free interactive workshop series for kids!
Workshops can be attended individually – registration for full series is not required. Dress your child for the weather and wear closed-toe shoes. Bring any needed gear (raincoat, hat, etc.) for outdoor fun.
Drop off your child a few minutes before the workshop starts and pick them up at 5:30 PM.
Guardians cannot sit in on workshops but are welcome to explore the Salmon Center and Theler Wetlands during class.
As we enter spring, new shoots poke up through the dirt and flowers begin to bloom. None of this would be possible without the small insects and animals which pollinate the plants around us! Join us for an interactive workshop to learn about how pollination works, the relationship between native plants and pollinators, and what we can do to create safe pollinator habitats. We will explore the native pollinator gardens here at the Salmon Center and create our own little bug hotels to bring native insects to our backyards.
