Experience the wonder of the season with Light & Gold, a luminous holiday concert from the Great Bend Chamber Choir featuring works by Whitacre, Lauridsen, and Gjeilo.
This contemplative program unites centuries of choral tradition through four breathtaking settings of O Magnum Mysterium, ranging from Renaissance serenity to modern radiance. Eric Whitacre’s Lux Aurumque adds a shimmering touch of “light and gold,” creating an atmosphere of reverence and peace.
Performed by candlelight in the intimate setting of St. David’s, Light & Gold invites audiences to slow down, listen deeply, and let the music illuminate the quiet joys of the season.
