The first seat is prepaid for members in Tiers 1-4 as part of their annual investment; registration for Tier 5 members is $25 per person. Prospects and community members may attend at the full rate of $35 per person. Registration includes lunch by Wild & Woodsy Catering. As always, doors open at 11:30a for lunch and networking, the program will run from 12:00-1:00p.

No business is immune to fraud—and the cost can be more than financial. At our June Chamber Luncheon, we’ll take a clear-eyed look at occupational fraud, the kind committed by employees or others in a position of trust.
Dawn Myers, CPA and Certified Fraud Examiner with more than 25 years of experience, will lead the conversation. As owner of Myers Forensic Accounting Services, Dawn has worked with organizations across sectors to uncover fraud schemes, assess internal controls, and reduce risk. She’ll share real-world examples, drawing from both national trends and cases here in Mason County, along with practical steps businesses can take to protect themselves.
We’ll explore common schemes like payroll fraud, vendor overbilling, and misuse of company assets, as well as warning signs and risk factors to watch for. You’ll leave with a better understanding of how fraud happens, why it often goes undetected, and what you can do to safeguard your business.
