What?s the difference between beat and rhythm?

Why so much Italian?
What?s a fach? And should I give one?
Beginning with beat, meter and rhythm, and moving through the elements of pitch, scales, tonality (key), melody, chords, harmony, form, texture and color, the class will look at how each of these dimensions are used by musicians to craft art and convey meaning, how they?re interrelated, and how they?re notated.
