Join everyone for races\, clinics\, paddling gear swap and demonstrations at Alderbrook Resort!\n\n \nSchedule:\n\n\nKick off the PNW paddling season at our annual NW Tradition co-hosted with Salmon Bay Paddle! Participants must be dressed for cold water immersion and have the physical ability and experience to complete the race they sign up for\, the race director may change a participants entry from long course to short course if experience and type of equipment is deemed unsafe for the long course\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n*The race course subject to change based upon weather conditions\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nLong course: (approximately 6 miles)\n\n\n\nCross open water and could face strong winds and current in both directions of the crossing.\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nShort course: (approximately 3 miles)\n\n\n\nStay along one shoreline and be a round trip route (down and back)\, possibly facing wind and current in both directions.\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nKids paddle course: (approx.   mile) / complimentary\n\n\n\nCircular route around the T dock at Alderbrook\, starting on one side of the leg and paddling around the top of the T\, returning to the other side of the leg. It is fairly protected and close to the dock at all times\, but current and wind can affect paddlers.\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n** Enter our drawing to win an overnight stay and dining credit at Alderbrook!\n\nPaddlers receive 10% off accommodations.
